Apr. 12, 2018, SciFinder with PatentPak is now available to MCW faculty, staff, and students. SciFinder is a major database for chemistry research from CAS, a division of the American Chemical Society. The database is brought to you through a collaboration between the MCW Program in Chemical Biology and MCW Libraries.
The database includes chemical structures and properties, reactions and syntheses, and scholarly journal and patent citations. PatentPak includes more than 10 million searchable, full-text patents from 31 major world-wide patent offices.
SciFinder with PatentPak is available to any MCW faculty, staff, and students with access to the MCW network and an MCW email account. SciFinder users must self-register to create an account for themselves to login. See MCW Libraries' guide for complete instructions on how to register and log in to SciFinder.
MCW Libraries will be scheduling online training events for SciFinder in May and June. Check the Library Classes calendar for information in late April.
