Virtual Critical Care Rounds: MCW Libraries Featured Resource

July 3, 2018 - The Society of Critical Care Medicine has two online courses called Virtual Critical Care Rounds (VCCR).  The courses are designed to prepare students and residents for working with critically ill patients during their intensive care unit rounds.

The course modules cover topics such as Airway Assessment and Management; ICU Orientation; Infections in Critically Ill Patients and Appropriate Antimicrobial Selection; Palliative Care in the ICU; and Sepsis and Septic Shock.

Access to the courses at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Froedtert Health, and Children's Hospital and Health System is funded by Froedtert Health Organizational Learning and managed by MCW Libraries. Any Medical College of Wisconsin, Froedtert Health, or Children's Hospital of Wisconsin faculty, staff, resident, or student may register to use the learning modules.
