Answering the call: pediatric surgeons deliver exemplary care
Nov. 15, 2016 MCW News - Given the severity of his gunshot injuries, Cortez Nelson was fortunate to survive. He received an exemplary standard of care at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, reflecting the hospital's prestigious recent verification as a Level 1 Children's Surgery Center by the American College of Surgeons (ACS), the highest level of distinction for hospitals that perform surgeries in newborns, children and teens.
