Raffle tickets still available for Sand Valley Golf Resort package; proceeds benefit MCW DDC

Sept. 6, 2017 MCW News - The 30th annual On Course for a Cure LPGA Pro-Am Golf Tournament to benefit the Medical College of Wisconsin’s (MCW) Digestive Disease Center will be held Tuesday, Sept. 19, at Milwaukee Country Club, 8000 N. Range Line Rd. in River Hills.

The tournament features Ladies Professional Golf Association players who will team up with community leaders to raise funds for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis research at the Digestive Disease Center. More than 1.6 million Americans are afflicted with these two diseases, collectively known as inflammatory bowel disease. The money raised will help researchers improve the quality of life for those individuals while working towards a cure.

After golf the event includes dinner and a silent and live auction featuring Steve “The Homer” True, legendary on-air personality. If you would like to purchase a dinner ticket or make a donation to the event, please visit the tournament registration website..

The event also features a special raffle for a Sand Valley Golf Resort Package. Tickets are $100 and only 200 tickets will be sold for this package valued at $3,500! You do not need to be present to win – last year’s winner was an MCW employee! The package includes three rounds of golf for your foursome at Sand Valley and one night private accommodations for four. Tickets can be purchased online on their website.
