Biography

Interests and Background
Dr. Amy Prunuske is committed to supporting the inclusion of underrepresented students in biomedical sciences and medicine. She directors the Advocates in Medicine Pathway program and serves as a facilitator of Culturally Aware Mentoring. She brings her scientific rigor to medical education evaluation monitoring the effectiveness of the MCW curriculum.

Honors and Awards

Drs. Amy Prunuske and Corrie Norrbom have been recognized for their work developing the Physician in the Community-Central Wisconsin Program. This has included local awards from the AOD Partnership, institutional recognition through the MCW Presidential Community Engagement Award, and nationally from the AAMC Regional Campus Award of Community Achievement.
