Brittany Mathews, PhD
Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
Dr. Mathews is a licensed psychologist with specialty in child/adolescent clinical psychology. She currently provides integrated behavioral health services for the Children’s Medical Group of the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. She specializes in treating internalizing and externalizing disorders as well as increasing healthy behaviors to manage medical conditions in childhood and adolescence.
Dr. Mathews is involved with the development of the Integrated Behavioral Health Program, and her research interests include integrated behavioral health care, parent-child relationships, emotional competence, and anxiety. In addition, she has academic interests in psychology training and supervision.
Dr. Mathews attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison for undergraduate training in psychology. She completed the Child and Adolescent Clinical Psychology Program and received her doctorate from Kent State University in Ohio. Dr. Mathews completed doctoral internship training and a postdoctoral fellowship in child/adolescent psychology at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minnesota.
