Bicycle Patrol Program
Public Safety is committed to establishing and maintaining a comprehensive Community-Oriented Policing and Problem-Solving model. In support of this effort the department operates a Bicycle Patrol Program.
The Bicycle Patrol Program symbolizes the department's continuing commitment to develop and foster collaborative community-based crime prevention and awareness partnerships. The program further enhances Public Safety's ability to patrol secluded areas, improve incident response times, assist with special events, and increase general presence throughout the campus.
The Bicycle Patrol Program operates from April 1 through November 1 of each calendar year.
