Biography

My name is Anna Ferrigan, and I grew up in Hawthorn Woods, Illinois before moving to Madison, Wisconsin. In 2019, I graduated with distinction from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a BS in Neurobiology and Psychology. During my undergraduate career, I worked as a research assistant within the Educational Neuroscience Lab studying mathematical brain development and abilities in school-aged children. Along with research, I volunteered for a peer-to-peer support network and took part in aiding to eliminate healthcare disparities and foster inclusive patient-healthcare professional relationships as a chair member of Healthcare Inclusion Initiative. I also provided care and support to both children and adults with disabilities which drove me to continue my advocacy work after graduation as an ABA Therapist for children with autism. As a former Wisconsin Badger cheerleader, I am passionate about staying active and enjoy hiking, skiing, and spending time outdoors. In my free time, you can also find me binge-watching Schitt's Creek, hanging out with friends, and eating new and unique foods. I am beyond excited and honored to be a member of the MCW MSGC Inaugural Class and cannot wait for what the future holds!
