Biography

Catie Carter joined the Office of Global Health in January 2023 while also maintaining her primary role as program manager in the Division of Epidemiology and Social Sciences in the Institute for Health and Equity where she manages projects that focus on resiliency and equity in early childhood development. Catie also supports DataShare, an integrated data system that links data across multiple sectors to support research and analysis in public health, public safety, education and related areas. She is proficient in REDCap and has designed several REDCap databases that support nonprofit organization operations and various research projects. She assists tribal partners in collaborating with Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCUs) and promoting student enhancement opportunities for indigenous students. Prior to working at the Medical College of Wisconsin, she was the Fetal Infant Mortality Review (FIMR) Coordinator for St. Louis City and St. Louis County, and also supported the collective impact initiative aimed at reducing infant mortality in St. Louis. From Saint Louis University, Catie received a Master of Public Health degree in Epidemiology as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology with a minor in Public Health.
