Charissa Fritzen-Pedicini joined the Division of Epidemiology in 2018 as a Research Program Coordinator supporting Dr. Kirsten Beyer. Her role involves implementation of community engaged research on environments and health.
Prior to MCW, Charissa received her BS in Biology from Cornell University and a MSPH from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She has worked in public health, research coordination, and epidemiology in Nashville, Baltimore, and Chicago before coming to MCW. She is excited to be involved in community engagement and translational research, and exploring the connection between environments and health. In her spare time, she loves cooking, hiking, and exploring Wisconsin state parks with her husband and dog.
