Pathology Fellow, Women's Health
- Pathology & Laboratory Medicine
I was born and raised in Cuenca-Ecuador, a nice colonial city in the middle of the Andes mountains. I went to medical school at University of Cuenca and earned my physician degree in 2013 becoming the third generation of physicians in my family.
Since medical school, pathology was one of my greatest interests and after I graduated I wanted to pursue for more experience in the area, so I did a pathology observership here at Medical College of Wisconsin and after that, I got involved with some research projects at University of Illinois at Chicago.
I feel very glad and fortunate to have the opportunity to do my training at MCWAH. The residency program offers a well based and balanced AP/CP training, multiple research opportunities and a very good work environment. Milwaukee is a nice city to live where you can get a taste of both urban and rural life, it also offers lots of outdoor activities, really good restaurants and friendly people.
In my free time, I really like to do outdoor activities from hiking to riding a horse, trying new restaurants and watching soccer games.
