Kathy J. Russeth, MD, is a full-time, board-certified psychiatrist who specializes in the treatment of children and adolescents at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. Her clinical interests include anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, and trauma with an eclectic approach to psychotherapy and family involvement.

Dr. Russeth is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry of at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She is also member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Association of Wisconsin, the American Medical Association and Wisconsin Medical Society.

Dr. Russeth completed subspecialty training in child and adolescent psychiatry at the Medical College of Wisconsin and Affiliated Hospitals. She received her medical degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin and graduated with a bachelor's degree in psychology from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN.

Research Interests

Dr. Russeth has presented on a number of behavioral health topics and is committed to research, education and improving access to care. She is actively involved in teaching medical students, residents and fellows and has served in a variety of medical teaching.
