Teaching Philosophy
The best substrate for learning starts by providing an atmosphere that fosters critical thinking, inspires curiosity, and develops open discussion. I hope to instill the value of lifelong learning in respect to mastering one’s craft, yet the humility to know we always can learn something new.

Interests and Background
Lee Clintsman graduated from St John’s University (MN) in 2005 (BA in Biology/Pre-Medicine). After working as a clinical technician/perfusion assistant for three years, he decided to pursue a career in anesthesia by attending Nova Southeastern University. Upon completion of the MHSc Anesthesiologist Assistant program (2010), he started his professional career at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas. Lee Clintsman continued taking care of pediatric/neonatal patients, and after a year transitioned to the pediatric cardiac team. He did CVOR, cardiac catheterization and non-OR procedures on pediatric patients complicated by congenital cardiac defects. When the opportunity presented itself, Lee made the decision to join MCW MSA program (September 2017) for the opportunity to contribute in and out of the classroom setting.
