Biography

Léon Taquet is an Engineer I in Dr. Max Krucoff’s Lab at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He received a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Tufts University where he was elected to the Tau Beta Pi engineering honor society. Before arriving at MCW, he worked in Dr. Keith Ligon’s Lab at Dana-Faber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA, where he aided in research using patient-derived glioma models and xenografts to study chemotherapeutic resistance. While at Dana-Farber, Léon went back to Tufts to receive a post-baccalaureate certificate in Computer Science. In the future, Léon plans to pursue a PhD in Biomedical Engineering.
