Biography
Ms. DeNomie is a staff-level researcher with 12 years' experience conducting community-engaged research in the Center for Healthy Communities & Research. Her expertise is in qualitative interviewing and focus group administration. She has strong relationships with representatives from organizations throughout Milwaukee and Wisconsin and is committed to addressing community-identified needs across a wide spectrum of communities and topics. Research projects include: health disparities, racial inequities, food access, and caregiver health. Ms. DeNomie is a doctoral candidate in University of Milwaukee's Urban Studies program where she studies critical race theory, community-engaged research, and the alternative food movement.
