Biography
I grew up outside Dublin, Ireland and completed my medical training at Trinity College Dublin in 2013. As an ophthalmology resident in Ireland I was always interested in the science behind our understanding of the clinical diseases I saw in my patients. I completed my clinical ophthalmology examinations while pursuing a post graduate degree in clinical visual science, followed by a clinical research fellowship position in Trinity College Dublin. I earned the opportunity to come to work at the AOIP for a summer in 2019 and was so enthralled by the advances being made here and the cutting-edge technology I decided to pursue a post-doctoral fellowship. I’m happily broadening my research interests in human and animal retinal imaging through both the AOIP and with Dr. Kassem’s lab, the perfect combination of clinical and scientific research for my interests and skills.
Research Interests
