Biography

Dr. Raphael Fraser works as a statistician for the Bone Marrow Transplant Clinical Trials Network and the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research. He joined the Division of Biostatistics in the Fall of 2015 and is also an adjunct professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. Before joining the Division of Biostatistics, Dr. Fraser worked at the Tropical Medicine Research Institute in Kingston, Jamaica where his research focused primarily on sickle cell disease.

Research Interests

Dr. Fraser's primary focus is on plasma cell disorders which includes diseases such as multiple myeloma and amyloidosis. His research interests are survival analysis, Bayesian statistics, clinical trials, and sample survey methodology.
