Biography

Rob Cronk grew up in Kenosha Wisconsin and completed undergraduate at the University of Wisconsin – Madison where he majored in Biology. He then attended medical school at Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine and went on to complete his residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Outside of work he enjoys exploring the great outdoors of Wisconsin with his wife and dog, hiking, hunting, fishing and mountain biking. He also likes to writing and playing music (guitar, bass guitar), in addition to cheering on Wisconsin sports teams! He is one of our Chief Fellows for the 2020-2021 year.

During my residency at MCW, I was able to rotate with the hematology/oncology consult and wards teams where I gained an appreciation for the excellent clinical training, diverse pathology, and multidisciplinary approach MCW takes to providing cancer care. I was also drawn to the opportunity to continue my research in the laboratory at the Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin.
