Biography

Dr. Ryan J. Adam earned a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Iowa in 2017. At Iowa, his research focused upon understanding lung structure and function in lung disease primarily through chest CT image analysis. Following graduation, Dr. Adam completed a two-year postdoc at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. At Nebraska, Dr. Adam’s research focused upon understanding neural mechanisms behind lung-injury induced arrythmogenesis. Dr. Adam joined the laboratory of Dr. Alison J.
