Research Interests

I obtained a bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from Bingham University in Nigeria in the year 2015. I completed some certification courses in Epidemiology, Leadership and Management from the University of Washington in 2018.

I have worked as a medical doctor in the last six years with more focus on sexual health, maternal and child health. I have volunteered for the Survive Fistula Healthcare Foundation, an NGO that focus on improving sexual health and outcomes for women with obstetric fistula.

I have also participated as a volunteer data collector, of relevance is the research conducted by the department of Community Health of my alma mater. The aim of the study was to identify and analyze important barriers to Childhood vaccination in rural communities in Plateau state, Nigeria.

My research interests are centered around sexual and reproductive health, especially amongst Northern Nigerian women. I would like to research how reproductive health services for example Contraceptive use can be improved in Northern Nigeria while factoring other determinants of sexual and reproductive health in that region.
