Education

Tanessa received her bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Wisconsin. Her background in for-profit marketing began with The Mark Travel Corporation and continued with a role in strategic marketing for The Carver Boat Corporation. Wanting to make a meaningful impact in a greater sense of the word, Tanessa entered the fundraising profession in 2009 by leading the development efforts at Cerebral Palsy, Inc. for five years.

Biography

Interests and Background
In this role with the Medical College of Wisconsin, Tanessa is leading the philanthropic campaign to launch the state's newest medical school campuses: MCW-Central Wisconsin and MCW-Green Bay. She enjoys partnering the generosity of donors with MCW’s innovative spirit to bring excellence to medical education.

As an active community member, Tanessa serves on three non-profit boards and is a past board president for the Association of Fundraising Professionals Northeastern Wisconsin Chapter. Tanessa is a cancer prevention study volunteer with the American Cancer Society, donates blood as often as she can remember, and teaches catechism at SS. Edward and Isidore. Tanessa grew up on a small farm in rural Wisconsin. She resides in Pulaski with her husband Joe, their children Isabella and Landon, and their two dogs.
