Department of Biochemistry Members Receive Teacher Recognition Pins for 2020-2021 Academic Year

Three Department of Biochemistry members have received Outstanding Medical Student Teacher award pins from the MCW Curriculum and Evaluation Committee, honoring outstanding Medical School teachers from the 2020-2021 academic year. This year, 368 educators received a recognition pin and letter of commendation for their excellence in teaching during the 2020-2021 academic year. These teachers were nominated by their course directors for their contribution to the advancement of medical student learning.

Awardees include:

  • Ravi Misra, PhD, Professor of Biochemistry, for contributions to the M1 Molecules to Cells course.
  • Jong-In Park, PhD, Professor of Biochemistry, for contributions to the M1 Molecules to Cells course.
  • Rachel Jones Lipinski, PhD, Postdoctoral Fellow in Dr. Brian Smith's Lab, for contributions to the Clinical and Translational Research Pathways course.
