New & Established Patients Call

  • MD - Doctor of Medicine

I have been involved in the specialty of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism since the early 1990's. I received medical training, as well as completing my residency and fellowship here at the Medical College of Wisconsin and affiliated Hospitals, where I currently hold appointment as Associate Professor of Medicine, Endocrinology.

My clinical interests include pituitary tumors and other neuroendocrine disorders, adrenal, thyroid and parathyroid disorders, and thyroid cancer. I am particularly interested in pituitary disorders and I am the Director of the Pituitary Clinic. The neurosurgeons and I work as a team to take care of patients with pituitary tumors.

I am actively involved in a number of organizations, including The American Pituitary Society, American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, and The Endocrine Society. I believe it is important to keep patients well informed about their medical problems and to educate them so they can be involved in their healthcare decisions.

Research Interests

As a fellow and researcher, I was mentored by Dr. Thad Hagen, a distinguished prolactin researcher who was also mentored by Dr. Ann Lawrence, a pioneer in prolactin research. I am no longer actively doing basic research, because I decided that my true passion was taking care of patients.
