Biography

Dr. Timothy Fenske attended medical school at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he also completed an MS degree in cellular and molecular biology. After completing a residency in internal medicine at UW-Madison, he then completed a fellowship in hematology and oncology at Washington University (Barnes Hospital) in St. Louis, where he was awarded a position on the National Institutes of Health Hematology Training Grant. He joined the faculty of the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2005 and is board-certified in internal medicine and medical oncology.

Research Interests

His clinical and research efforts are focused on the care of patients with Hodgkin lymphoma (Hodgkin's disease) and Non-Hodgkin lymphoma. He is particularly interested in innovative treatments for lymphoma, including novel pharmaceutical, immunological, and stem cell transplant therapies, as well as strategies to minimize the toxicity of therapy.
