Biography

Dr. Sean Marks is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin in the Division of Geriatric and Palliative Medicine, specializing in palliative medicine. He graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2004 and then completed an internal medicine residency at University Hospitals Case Medical Center in 2007. After completing his fellowship in palliative medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2008, he continued on as faculty. He is the program director for the Hospice and Palliative Medicine Physician Fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin and the editor-in-chief of Fast Facts and Concepts, which is an online collection of peer-reviewed synopses of key palliative care topics. He has an clinical research interest in mood disorders in the terminally ill, palliative care education, and prognostication.
