Biography
I was born and raised in Milwaukee, have a degree from University of Wisconsin Milwaukee (Panther Pride!), and after a stint in retail management throughout college, I joined MCW in 1999. Professionally, I’ve been in my residency program role since 2004 and manage all aspects of our residency program. I received my TAGME certification in 2018, and am currently the Chair of our national organization for internal medicine program administrators.
What do I like about Milwaukee? What’s not to like!?! There are so many parks (dog friendly, too) that offer hiking/biking trails, and walking along the lakefront is a great way to spend an afternoon. The restaurant scene in Milwaukee is amazing, too, and my advice is to plan your culinary adventure around happy hour. This allows you the opportunity to sample the food and drink at multiple restaurants, as it can be hard to pick just one. Farmer’s markets, Summerfest, concerts, festivals (ethnic, art, and food), and breweries; there’s just so much to do in Milwaukee!
