Biography
Karl grew up in Los Angeles, CA. He attended Harvey Mudd College, where he received a degree in Engineering and obtained significant work experience with analog, digital, and RF design. He then moved to McAllen, TX, where he taught math and science at the middle school and high school level.
After his teaching experience, he became a paramedic and served the Rio Grande Valley as an emergency responder until matriculating to medical school at the University of Texas School of Medicine at San Antonio, where he graduated with Honors.
He is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, AANS, and CNS. He now lives in Milwaukee with his wife and daughter, and is a resident with the Neurosurgery Department of the Medical College of Wisconsin.
His interest in neurosurgery includes brain tumors, vascular surgery, and pediatrics.
