Biography

Dr. Gregory J. Griepentrog is a fellowship-trained, board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in ophthalmic facial surgery (also known as oculoplastic and orbital surgery). This area includes medically necessary eyelid surgery, facial cosmetic surgery, thyroid eye disease and orbital and lacrimal (tear duct) disease. Dr. Griepentrog is a Milwaukee native and completed his medical degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and ophthalmology residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He served as a faculty member at the Mayo Clinic before returning to the University of Wisconsin-Madison to complete a two-year fellowship sponsored by the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS) and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS).
