Dr. Amrita Vuppala Joins Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences Faculty

The Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences is pleased to welcome Amrita Vuppala, MD as a new faculty member. Dr. Vuppala will serve as Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology as well as see patients as part of our neuro-ophthalmology team.

Dr. Vuppala completed her neurology residency training program here at the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed her fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology at the Wilmer Eye Institute, Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Vuppala comes to us from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha where she was awarded Teacher of the Year in 2020 for her contributions to the academic achievement of the residency program.
