14th Annual Midwestern Conference: Update Course in Diagnostic Pathology

Conference Overview

This three-day course has been designed to provide a comprehensive and practical update of diagnostic surgical pathology. It is primarily designed to enhance the knowledge of practicing surgical pathologists, particularly those involved in community practice. The activities will include lectures containing the latest in research and diagnosis, and complex surgical pathology cases, each session providing time for questions and answers.

Registration is now open!

This course is applicable to practicing surgical pathologists, surgeons, oncologists, pathologists' assistants, and pathologists-in-training. Healthcare professionals who work in other areas of research and diagnostic surgical pathology will also find this course beneficial.

Instructional techniques will include didactic lectures with visual support and case-based discussions. Learners will have an opportunity to interact via an audience response system, as well as participate in question-and-answer sessions to address issues relevant to their own practice and learning needs.

  • Evaluate current criteria for diagnosis in various subspecialty areas in diagnostic pathology

Cancellations that are date stamped on/before August 24 will receive a refund of paid table fee/s, less a $50 processing fee per table. No refund will be granted for cancellations date stamped after August 24*. Fees will not be refunded for no-shows.

*Exceptions may be made in cases of illness at MCW Department of Pathology’s sole discretion.

The Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify delivery format of this course. In the event of cancellation, all registration fees will be refunded in full. In the event of postponement or modified delivery, participants will be provided the choice of transferring registration, or receiving a full refund.
