Underrepresented in Medicine
The Department of Pediatrics at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) has initiated the elective travel scholarship program to help facilitate underrepresented in medicine (URM) student experience in pediatrics and within MCW. Along with the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), we recognize that increasing representation from all backgrounds will provide significant benefits to patient care, education and research.
