Biography

Dr. Lampe graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin Psychiatry Residency Program and currently works at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center. Prior to residency, she completed medical school at Rosalind Franklin University-Chicago Medical School. On the inpatient psychiatric unit at the VA Medical Center, Dr. Lampe provides supervision for addiction psychiatry fellows, residents, and medical students. The inpatient psychiatric unit has strong interprofessional support, working closely with social work to determine appropriate referrals to outpatient, residential, or community treatment. Dr. Lampe and her treatment team work closely to determine appropriate treatment recommendations, including medications such as Suboxone or Sublocade. Dr. Lampe also provides electroconvulsive therapy at the VA Medical Center. Each month, she also works at the Milwaukee County Psychiatric Crisis Services Center providing psychiatric emergency care for Milwaukee County and evaluating involuntary psychiatric patients.

When not at work, Dr. Lampe enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the many parks of Milwaukee and the surrounding area, watching baking shows and attempting to grow plants in her shade-covered yard.
