Dr. Kowol sees patients with addiction and comorbid conditions at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center. She also sees patients whose primary diagnosis is not addiction at the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine Clinics at the Tosa Health Center.

Dr. Kowol attended the University of Wuerzburg, Germany, for medical training. She completed her psychiatry residency and addiction psychiatry fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin. After working for four and a half years in private practice in Oklahoma she returned to the Medical College of Wisconsin.
