Aoy Tomita-Mitchell, PhD, Selected as a New Member of the 2022-2023 Society for Research Excellence

Aoy Tomita-Mitchell, PhD, has been selected as a new member of the 2022-2023 Society for Research Excellence. The society is a collective of select MCW faculty members with a demonstrated commitment to discovery, mentorship, leadership, and advancement in research. Dr. Mitchell was selected from candidates with a sustained research leadership leading to high impact findings, a history of serving as an effective mentor, and national recognition for research. Dr. Mitchell is a Professor in the Division of Congenital Heart Surgery and a researcher in the Division's Mitchell Lab. She was inducted into the Society for Research Excellence at the 2022 Convocation Ceremony on September 15, 2022.
