Biography

Hello! My name is Emma and I’m from Waldron, Indiana. I graduated from Marian University Indianapolis in 2020 with my bachelor’s degree in Biology and a minor in Psychology, and I then went on to earn my Master’s degree in Biology in 2021 from IUPUI. I’ve worked in ABA therapy for 2 years now and just recently dipped into working in a forensics lab. I have a huge interest in working towards more inclusivity for mental illness, and one of my favorite advocacies I’ve volunteered for was a mentorship program to people with eating disorders.

I’m a giant videogame nerd and I love PC gaming – no one ever guesses that! Besides videogames, I love cooking, baking, and spending time with friends and family. I am SO ecstatic to be a part of MCW’s inaugural genetic counseling class and I cannot wait to be a future genetic counselor!
