Abstracts - Innovations in Healthcare Education Proposal
Innovations in Healthcare Education Research Conference
Please check back for the call for abstracts for the 2019 Innovations in Healthcare Education Research Conference.
An Innovations Abstract is a report on a program, project, or other unique educational offering that is far enough along in its conceptual development or implementation phase that some valuable lessons have been learned that are worth sharing with other educators and researchers. Keep in mind that topics which may be new and timely at a local level, may not be new or timely at a national level, because they may have been previously addressed, therefore reference to how this work contributes to what is already known in the medical education literature is expected.
Abstracts will be presented in one of two formats: oral and poster. The presentation format will be determined by the program planning committee based on thematic content of the abstracts. Oral presentations will be no longer than 10 minutes in duration.
Abstracts are limited to a total of 3000 characters (900 characters per section except the "Significance" section at 300 characters) not including title, authors and institutional affiliations, and references.
To be announced
- Oral presentations: 8 minutes for presenter followed by 5 minutes of discussion
- Posters: The size limit is 8’ wide x 4’ high
Date and time to be announced
Location: 8701 Watertown Plank Rd., Milwaukee, WI 53226
