Hi!  My name is Tanessa Klug and my role is the Director of Development for the regional campuses.  I have the best job on the team – sharing MCW’s mission with the community and engaging support for all medical students who will pursue their dreams to become doctors at the regional campuses.

This past Monday evening, a dozen of the MCW-Green Bay students stayed late to call alumni of the Medical College of Wisconsin living in Northeast Wisconsin.  It was a fun evening of thanks, as the students shared their initial experiences at the regional campus and expressed appreciation for the support alumni have shown MCW.  Alumni were happy to share study tips on the Krebs cycle, encouragement for the path ahead, invitations to connect, as well as financial contributions for student financial aid.

Alumni support has been critical to the launch of the Medical College of Wisconsin’s regional campuses.  Community physicians – including many alumni – are involved as clinical preceptors, teaching faculty, and generous donors.

The medical students embraced the opportunity to display MCW’s attitude of gratitude to the alumni who have paved the way for MCW-Green Bay and many key initiatives supporting the Medical College of Wisconsin’s bright future.
