Biography

Aaron N. Winn is a health services researcher whose work focuses on patient, physician and health system factors that impact cost, quality and access of healthcare, particularly among vulnerable populations. He has research expertise using decision analytic models, large secondary databases, and electronic medical records. Aaron has more than 25 peer-reviewed scientific publications. Aaron received his PhD from the Department of Health Policy and Management at the Gillings School of Global Public Health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Masters of Public Policy from the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago.

Publications

My goal is to equip students with the full toolbox of skills needed to be analytic thinkers and to consider population as well as individual patient health. Students will explore how they can best use their new skills to improve patient care and deepen their critical thinking.
