I strive to provide truly patient- and family-centered care for our critically ill patients and to prioritize open, honest communication. I seek a deep understanding of patients' values when navigating difficult decisions. I also believe that listening skills, thoughtfulness, and wisdom are a physician’s most important diagnostic tools. While I incorporate the latest scientific evidence and state-of-the-art technology into my practice, I also recognize that there is no substitute for critical thinking.

Clinic Locations

Though I grew up in the Chicago area, I met my wife at Marquette University and now call Milwaukee home. My professional life at MCW revolves around my clinical practice and teaching and mentoring our medical students, residents, and fellows. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and children. My favorite leisure activities include bicycling, watching Marquette basketball, playing various musical instruments, and exploring everything this city and state have to offer.
