Biography

After 36 years of clinical gastroenterology practice in Milwaukee, Dr. John T. Bjork relocated to the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Medical College of Wisconsin.  Currently, he sees patients in the Gastroenterology Clinic at Froedtert Hospital and the Froedtert Surgery Center. He has extensive experience in general clinical gastroenterology. Dr. Bjork received his medical school diploma and fellowship training at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He has served as Chief of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center and Chief of Internal Medicine at Aurora West Allis Medical Center. In 2011-2012, Dr. Bjork was President of the Medical College of Wisconsin/Marquette Medical School Alumni Association. He has participated in the People to People Ambassador Program for the Gastroenterology Delegation to Russia, Vietnam, Columbia and Cuba.
