Biography

John J. Evans, M.D. is a Surgical Pathologist with subspecialty expertise in diseases of the digestive tract. His philosophy to patient care is through education. At the Medical College of Wisconsin, Department of Pathology, Dr. Evans directs patient care and the education of medical students, pathology residents and fellows who rotate through the gastrointestinal, liver and pancreaticobiliary pathology service. His research interests include molecular regulation in the liver with an emphasis on lipid metabolism and pancreas cancer. Dr. Evans is a member of the Rodger C. Haggitt Gastrointestinal Pathology Society, Wisconsin Society of Pathologists, College of American Pathologists and the American Society for Clinical Pathology.
