- Medical Microbiology
Dr. Kehl provides medical, scientific and technical direction for the departments of microbiology, virology and molecular infectious disease testing at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. She is responsible for the implementation of new assays and provides guidance to providers on test selection and interpretation of test results. Dr. Kehl is also an associate director of clinical pathology at Children’s Hospital. In that role, she provides oversite and direction of the quality management program. Dr. Kehl is the course director for the PGY-2 microbiology rotation. She provides training and oversight of the pathology residents in clinical microbiology. Additionally, she serves as a co-chair of the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin Institutional Review Board.
