Annual Gerard Scanlon Memorial Lecture Scheduled for October 17

The Annual Gerard Scanlon Grand Rounds Lecture will be held Thursday, Oct. 17, at 12:00 pm in the Department of Radiology, Scanlon Conference Room. The event will feature Dr. Jane P. Ko, professor of radiology and director of the Thoracic and Cardiac Imaging Fellowship Program at NYU Langone Health. Dr. Ko will present, "Lung adenocarcinoma: Radiology pathology correlation and nodule management.”

The Scanlon Society was formed in 1983 to honor the memory of Dr. Gerard Scanlon, professor and assistant chair of radiology and an outstanding clinician and teacher. Each year, the society invites a thoracic radiologist to campus to give a presentation. In addition to the main lecture, Dr. Ko will speak on “LD on HRCT: Approach, pearls, and pitfalls” at 7:30 am. Both lectures are in the Scanlon Conference Room located in the Radiology Department, 2nd floor, Specialty Clinics Building. All are welcome to attend.
