Dermatology Medical Students Summer Research Program Poster Session
The Medical Student Summer Research Program showcased their summer research projects in a poster session on Thursday, Oct. 3, in the MCW Alumni Center. Students worked with faculty from 23 departments across MCW, Froedtert Hospital and Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. The poster session featured 140 M2 students with projects ranging from basic and clinical research to quality improvement.
In conjunction with the poster session, the Dr. Michael J. Dunn Medical Student Research Day Poster Contest will present $500 awards for each of the top ten judged posters.
Ashley Ng worked with Dr. Yvonne Chiu this summer and presented a poster titled “Longitudinal Characterization of Pediatric Morphea: Interim analysis of the registry”.
Caden Ulschmid worked with Dr. Olayemi Sokumbi this summer and presented a poster titled “A Retrospective Review of Delay in Diagnosis, Severity of Disease, and Dermatology Visits Characterized by Race in Patients with Hidradenitis Suppurativa in a Midwestern Population”.
