Dr. Jamie Jasti Elected to the Board of the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine
Jamie Jasti, MD ‘20, first-year resident in the Department of Emergency Medicine, was elected to the Board of the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine (SAEM)—the premier association representing Emergency Medicine researchers and educators. Dr. Jasti will serve as the resident member of the Board for a one-year term to begin at the upcoming SAEM annual meeting in mid-May.
“Dr. Jasti’s election to the SAEM Board is an honor for him and the Department of Emergency Medicine—particularly as few residents in three-year programs have managed to win such seats nationally,” said Ian B. K. Martin, MD, MBA, professor with tenure and system chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine. “I am confident Dr. Jasti will represent the interests of Emergency Medicine residents (and students) around the country well.”
Congratulations, Dr. Jasti!
