School of Pharmacy Students Administer Flu Vaccines at the Medical College of Wisconsin
Milwaukee, October 1, 2020 – Second- and third-year Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) School of Pharmacy students administered influenza vaccines this week to approximately 200 MCW faculty, staff, students and members of the MCW Board of Trustees.
The CDC recommends that everyone 6 months of age and older get a flu vaccine. The MCW School of Pharmacy prepares PharmD students to fulfill the expanded role of the pharmacist, providing increased access to quality patient care for communities. All graduates of the program obtain certification in immunization.
