Scott Robison, OD, Staff Optometrist, spent ten years teaching optometry students primary eye care, contact lenses, low vision and geriatrics at the Illinois College of Optometry. Dr. Robison examines patients in the general eye care clinic and those with difficult refractions. His primary focus at the Eye Institute is working with visually impaired patients in the Vision Rehabilitation Section. These patients who have had moderate to severe vision loss need special strategies to complete the activities of daily living. Dr. Robison stated his patient care philosophy is as follows: "I work with patients to optimize their use of the vision they have left. I work on very task specific strategies to allow my patients to achieve their visual goals."
