Ongoing Research Studies in the AOIP

Dr. Lynn Sun and Dr. Geoff Wilkes perform an eye exam

We are committed to the development and application of translational ocular imaging tools to improve detection, diagnosis, and management of eye disease.  Central to this mission is conducting research studies that use these imaging tools to study a wide range of eye diseases. While our research program features state-of-the-art imaging technology, research volunteers are really the most vital part of our research program.  Without the generous participation of research volunteers in our studies, our research is simply not possible.

Shown below are some of the eye conditions for which we are looking for research volunteers.  If you or a family member has one of these conditions and are interested in participating in our imaging research, please click on the box to learn more about the study or to request more information.

We often need individuals to serve as control subjects for our imaging studies. If you are interested in participating in our research as a normal control subject, then please click the More Info button next to the Normal study below.
