Education

Dr. Ebert received his MS, PhD and MD from the Medical College of Wisconsin. He received his MS and PhD investigating the effect of age on the autonomic nervous system and specifically, the human baroreflex. In addition to post-doctoral training at MCW, Dr. Ebert completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Department of Cardiology, the Medical College of Virginia, and further training in sympathetic microneurography at the Department of Neurophysiology at the Sahlgrenska Institute in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Biography

Dr. Ebert's research has involved extensive investigations into the effects of anesthesia on the cardiovascular and autonomic nervous systems. His research has been supported by the National Institutes of Health, the Veterans Administration, the American Heart Association, other granting organizations as well as pharmaceutical and medical instrument companies over the past twenty-five years.
