Welcome to the Division of Hematology and Oncology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Our talented faculty and staff combine humane, patient-centered care with the academic pursuit of better cancer therapies giving new hope to patients and families. The Division provides expertise in all aspects of medical oncology including treatment of solid tumors, hematologic (blood) cancers and bone marrow transplantation. We also provide exceptional care for non-cancerous blood diseases, including bleeding and clotting disorders. Finally, our Palliative Care Service provides expert consultation in quality of life issues for all patients facing serious illness as well as end of life care. Read more...

MCW Division of Hematology and Oncology physicians and practitioners primarily see patients at the Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin Clinical Cancer Center and at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center. Faculty members also see patients in collaboration with Medical College of Wisconsin oncologists at Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Network locations: Froedtert Health Community Memorial Hospital’s Cancer Care Center in Menomonee Falls and Froedtert Health St Joseph’s Hospital’s Kraemer Cancer Center in West Bend.

Dr. Massey Discusses Increased Incidence of Oral, Head and Neck Cancers

Apr. 17 - In an interview on WTMJ-AM, Dr. Becky Massey (Otolaryngology & Communication Sciences) said that the number of people diagnosed with oral, head and neck cancers is increasing, especially among young people. Froedtert & MCW will offer free head and neck cancer screenings on April 15 at the Froedtert & MCW Clinical Cancer Center. People who are recommended for a screening are those who have known risk factors for these cancers or who have any unexplained changes such as a lump in the tongue, neck or lip, or changes in swallowing, speech or breathing. Wisconsin Breast Cancer Research and Advocacy Boot Camp Slated for May 30

Apr. 14 - MCW will host the Wisconsin Breast Cancer Research and Advocacy Boot Camp on Saturday, May 30. The training program explains the science of breast cancer and is aimed at survivors, educators, students, the media, and the general public. The workshop is co-sponsored by the Clinical and Translational Science Institute of Southeast Wisconsin, and the Froedtert & MCW Cancer Center. Waukesha Now
