Welcome to the Division of Hematology and Oncology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Our talented faculty and staff combine humane, patient-centered care with the academic pursuit of better cancer therapies giving new hope to patients and families. The Division provides expertise in all aspects of medical oncology including treatment of solid tumors, hematologic (blood) cancers and bone marrow transplantation. We also provide exceptional care for non-cancerous blood diseases, including bleeding and clotting disorders. Finally, our Palliative Care Service provides expert consultation in quality of life issues for all patients facing serious illness as well as end of life care. Read more...

MCW Division of Hematology and Oncology physicians and practitioners primarily see patients at the Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin Clinical Cancer Center and at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center. Faculty members also see patients in collaboration with Medical College of Wisconsin oncologists at Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Network locations: Froedtert Health Community Memorial Hospital’s Cancer Care Center in Menomonee Falls and Froedtert Health St Joseph’s Hospital’s Kraemer Cancer Center in West Bend.

MPS students, experts invite community to learn about cancer prevention, racial disparities in Milw

Jan. 21 - Families and community members are invited to learn more about cancer prevention and cancer-related racial disparities from students and experts as Milwaukee Public Schools’ Milwaukee High School of the Arts (MHSA) hosts a health fair. The MHSA service learning project is happening thanks to a grant from the American Cancer Society and Kohl’s to the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW). Graduate student aims at brain research

Using technology and tools that the Medical College of Wisconsin was a world leader in developing, a PhD student in the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and her faculty mentor are pursuing brain research with potential to benefit cancer patients.

Research changes views on breast cancer

A research collaboration is helping to eliminate obstacles to breast cancer screening among African American women in central Milwaukee. Research collaborators include members of the Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Center, Froedtert Hospital, and community leaders and advocates.
