Welcome to the Division of Hematology and Oncology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Our talented faculty and staff combine humane, patient-centered care with the academic pursuit of better cancer therapies giving new hope to patients and families. The Division provides expertise in all aspects of medical oncology including treatment of solid tumors, hematologic (blood) cancers and bone marrow transplantation. We also provide exceptional care for non-cancerous blood diseases, including bleeding and clotting disorders. Finally, our Palliative Care Service provides expert consultation in quality of life issues for all patients facing serious illness as well as end of life care. Read more...

MCW Division of Hematology and Oncology physicians and practitioners primarily see patients at the Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin Clinical Cancer Center and at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center. Faculty members also see patients in collaboration with Medical College of Wisconsin oncologists at Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Network locations: Froedtert Health Community Memorial Hospital’s Cancer Care Center in Menomonee Falls and Froedtert Health St Joseph’s Hospital’s Kraemer Cancer Center in West Bend.

10-year-old twins fight leukemia together

Dr. Kiran Turaga named Sharon K. Wadina Endowed Professor in Sarcoma Research

Oct. 1 - Kiran K. Turaga, MD, MPH, associate professor of surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW), has been named the Sharon K. Wadina Endowed Professor in Sarcoma Research. Dr. Turaga serves as director of Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin’s Regional Cancer Therapy Program, and is board-certified in general surgery.
